PPA Challenge #17

This week's challenge at Paper Pal Arts is a sketch challenge. I was shocked when I saw it because it reminds me of a couple of cards I made a couple of weeks ago! LOL! And I loved them so I was excited to make another one!

I'm sick of Christmas already, so I decided to go with Valentine's Day. The hearts are from Loads of Love(110522) (which incidently was my very first SU stamp set ever!) and the sentiment is from teeny Tiny Wishes (115370). I just love the hearts in the middle. They are from the three heart punch called Heart to Heart (113694.) And the ribbon...of the ribbon.. I'm in love with this fat ribbon. I can't seem to use anything else! Its called Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in basic black (115615.)

A few things...

I haven't posted in a while! Yikes! I've been busy prepping for several workshops and hid a bit of scrappers block. Everything I've made, I didnt like! But, I think I'm back now...

This is straight from Chic N' Scratch. Love her blog! I just orderd a sizzlet to make one like this but with a cute reindeer. This will be one of my Hostess Club projects this month.

This is one I came up on the fly.. I was in Michaels and found these koozies in their dollar spot. We do a "Secret Santa" at school and I thought this would be a great little gift (with a cold soda inside!) Also a Hostess Club Project.

This is from Chic' n Scratch as well. Its a gift card holder. I just ordered a roller to use rather than the star stamp. Hostess Club maybe....

I'll be gone for a while...off to Memphis for Thanksgiving! Have a great one!

PPA Challenge #15

The challenge this week at Paper Pal Arts is a color chalenge.

I was a little nervous with the grey... but I gave it a try and threw in some black and love the final product! I got the border layer idea from Tracy at U Stamp With Dawn this week.

And speaking of Paper Pal Arts... Can I toot my horn for a second! I WON A PRIZE!!!!! LOL! Thank you so much to the ladies over at PPA for this amazing prize full of pink goodies. It was a random drawing last week for participants and I about dropped my breakfast when I saw my name. There are so many things in here that I have not tried or even owned. I can not wait to dig in! So, thanks again PPA!!!

Christmas Card Stamp Camp

Join us for a fun holiday workshop to make those much needed, handmade Christmas cards! Create 16 (2 each of the above designs) beautiful cards with envelopes. All materials are high quality craft supplies from Stampin’ Up and included in the class fee.

All our stamp camps are designed for beginners to advanced crafters.
Anyone can make these! Have a fun morning creating and participating in the fun holiday festivities while getting one thing off your to do list. Also, shop for those people on your list who enjoy hand crafted items.

Cost: $25, payable on the date of workshop

Mix and Match

For a challenge over at Daily Inspiration, we were asked to used suppllies from all different manufactuers. It was a fun challenge! And too easy for me with my zillion sheets of pattern paper...

An ornament is only an ornament unless it is a...

We do this lesson in Kindergarten all the time! Turning a shape into something completly different! I love it! So, I took the challenge of turning an ornament shape into other things. I want my stampers to feel like when they buy the ornament punch, they won't discard it come January. I wanted to get the most for my money! I know everybody feels the same these days!So, I cased some cards off the internet and came up with a few things myslf. Besides it's obvious use, here are a few other ideas!
