Facebook Friday: Healing Hugs

Hello everybody! It's time for another Facebook Friday!
Today, I'll be showing you three ways to use the Healing Hugs stamp set. This set is very popular and I predict it being one of the best selling sets in the catalog! It's special kind of stamp called Distinktive that Stampin' Up has a patent pending on. It creates photo realistic images with out having to do two or three step stamping. You can see Stampin' Up's video on this stamp here.

If you are unable to join me live, I will upload the recording here afterwards.

Edit to add recording:

First up is a CASE straight from the catalog. The catalog is actually a great resource for your to get ideas on using your stamps. I am in love with this card and had to make it myself! Check out that faux stitching too! It's a Framelit!

Next up is one of our new Gable Boxes. I'll show you how to change the color of your Gable Boxes and stamp the flower right on to your box.

Last, I pair the stamps with some Gold Foil and our new Tufted Embossing Folder.r

They have all the products I used and measurements for each project

Lilypad Lake

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a card I made last month for my team swap. Our theme was WATER! That could be interpreted in so many ways and it was so fun to see what everyone came up with. I chose to use the new Lilypad Lake Bundle for my card.

For the water part, I used Balmy Blue and did a watercolor wash on Watercolor Paper. I sprinkled Kosher Salt on it before it dried. That creates those textured bubbles. Once it's dry, you just brush off all the salt.

The flowers were colored with an Aqupainter. Everything else was cut out with the coordinating Lakeside framelits.

Tomorrow's Facebook Friday will feature the Healing Hugs stamp set from the new catalog. Set a reminder and join me live at 2:00 CST on my Facebook Group Page. Everyone is welcome!

Class Treats- Lemon Zest and Message in a Bottle

Hello everyone! Today, I want to share a couple of treats I recently sent out with my Class To Go Kits. I try to include something fun as a little thank you in each of my kits using the stamp set featured in the class.

For my Lemon Zest Class, I bought little boxes of Lemon Drops. I made these fun tags to stick to each one.

Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist make for a fun color combo!

And, for the Message in a Bottle class I found these Whale crackers which are perfect for the little  whale stamp.

Real Red, Pool Party and Night of Navy are a summer color combo perfect for this time of year!

I hope the recipients enjoyed the fun little goodies when they open their kits!

If you are unable to join me live, I will upload the recording here afterwards.
Edited to add recording.

First up, we've got an adorable treat container. The fun thing about this framelit set is that you can change the actual die to make different shaped tops!

Next up is a treat box! Doesn't Granny Apple Green and Blueberry Bliss make a great color combo?

And lastly, I'll show you how to use the treat time framelit to make a simple gift card holder.

Catalog Kick Off Sale

Hello everyone! This past Saturday, I held my annual Catalog Kick Off Party and BOGO Sale. It was my biggest turn out yet and I though you'd like to see some pictures!

I created a banner with all of our colors to showcase the beautiful range of options we have now.

We had a Make and Take table that featured a card using the Abstract Impressions set.

I had several areas with displays. This one shows the new In Colors.

I also had all of my retired product out. It wasn't for sale, it was FREE with an equal purchase from the new catalog. This is a great deal for both me and my customers. I get to make room for all the new products and they get to get twice the amount of product for the price!

I had lots of ink to get rid of!

I also had cookies made. The baker looked at photos of our new products and colors and made some pretty amazing works of art!

My downline Anne Marie came to help. We ended up wearing the dame shirt without even planning it!

Everyone enjoyed shopping.

Thanks to everyone who came- I am grateful for your business! If you aren't local but you are interested in my remaining (a BUNCH!!) retired items, I'll be offering the same BOGO sale in August on my Facebook Group page. Stay tuned for those details!
