SSSC62- Sweet Sunday Sketch!

I've discovered a new (to me) challenge blog. Its called The Sweetest Thing and she does a new sketch every Sunday. Here is this week's.

I drew inspiration from here. I just loved these sunflowers!

PPA #35- Anything But A Card

This adorable little goodie box was inspired by the adorable Easter Boxes I saw here. It is made with the Sizzix Box #2. I used it to do this week's challenge at PPA!

I love this little bird. Its a punch called Two Step Bird and it's in the SU Mini Catalog. It will be going away at the end of April. If you want it, get it now!

I love this family picture! It's a simple layout, but I think it works!

Look at that face! This was Emma's first haircut. Oh how I wish my hair was that color and texture!

Sweet Sisters

Yea, they look sweet in the pictures, but as I type this, they are beating each other up stairs. But, hey I can pretend right? Maybe one day they will love each other.... right?

This adorable paper has been in my hoarding section. Its from Sassafrass Lass. I just love the edges they put on their paper. Its like getting more for your money!

The Mother of All Baby Showers...

We had a mass baby shower at work. It was for 8 different mommy/daddy's expecting babies this year. So, I made 8 of these sweet pea tags. Aren't they cute ona brown bag?

My fingers were green for days from inking the sides of all the tiny pieces, but it was worth it! They were so cute all lined up... To see the specifics of these tags, check out my post here.

PPA34 and CTD 84

This week, I combined two challenges. My favorite kind of challenges are a sketch and a color challenge. So, this week, I used both! The sketch is from PPA designer Margret Moody and the colors are from The Color Throwdown challenge.

ASP Blog Hop!

Its been a while, but its here again! My Scrappy friends and I are blog hopping! This month, we used these adorable Gymboree jammies as inspiration!

And here is what I came up with! I focused on the polka dot blue background and the white daisies. I used some red to bring in the photo colors. I think it all pops very well!

The Daisy's are popped up with pop dots. I used my Cricut and the Walk in My Garden cart to cut the cute daisies.

PPA #33- A Color Challenge

Here are this week's challenge colors at Paper Pal Arts. I love them! I needed something to push me out of my pink box! And of course, it included my favorite color, KRAFT!

I purchased SU's Scallp Square Clear Die last week and I used it this weekend to make these simple thank you cards. I cased an idea from....uh...I can't remember.. Sorry!

ACOT Weekend Crop, part 2

Hi again! Here are the rest of my LOs I did last weekend for ACOT's online crop!

This challenge was to have mostly white with red accents and to use a saying. Is white the main color? I don't know, I think I went over board with the red... LOL! This page was created using a Valerie Salmon sketch at Got Sketch.

This was a fun one to do. I had bought this cute vintage paper that looked like a monopoly board, but like a school version. I had no idea how to use it. This challenge had an ad with all these hanging down signs and we were supposed to take inspiration from it. So, I cut up the paper and made a hanging down sign thingy. Thats my sweet Ellie.

I have a hard time looking at this one! Uhg! Those nasty feet print are my sweet little Emma's feet print I found one day on my dining room carpet. GAG! But, I had to take a picture because that is so her. We joke we will have to burn this house down when she is done with it. Anyway, this challenge was to scrap something we will miss. I know I will miss her little messes one day. The journaling includes the lyrics to You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins.

So thats it. 6 pages in one weekend plus a bunch of other stuff. Not bad!

ACOT's Weekend Crop

ACOT, or A Cherry On Top, is a scrapbook websight that has great online crops a few times a year. They post games and challenges all weekend and you play along to earn points, which in turn you can use as a discount in their store. Its always great motivation for me to get a bunch of pages done.

This one was a Color challenge. We had to color something that was previously black and white. If you see the white strip on the left, I stampe dit with the sprinkles stamp and then colored it in with Stampin' Write Markers. Thats my sweet Baby Addie. Isnt she yummy!

This was an interesting challenge. We used lace, or die cut paper, as a mask. Then we sprayed Glimmer Mist on it. I've never used GM before. Not sure if I like it. But, the page turned out cute.

And this one was a recipe challenge. I can't remember the specifics, but I know I had to have 5 of something (circles) and 4 pieces of pattern paper. This is my middle child (or my mini me) Emma. She's pretty darn cute too!

We have a big baby shower coming up at work, so I have baby cards on the brain! This one was made using a tutorial that I now can not find! Its pretty basic though. 1 3/8 circles on the bottom corners, scallop circle...I will try to find it again...
