First Edition Flower Frame (Artisan Entry #3)

For one of my "3D Projects" for the Artisan Award, I altered a mirror from IKEA.

I painted it, covered it with First Edition DSP and distressed it with Soft Suede. I stamped images from Artistic Etchings.

Then, I made all these roses out of punched scallops. Took. ME. FOREVER! And my nails were black! LOL!

I loved this mirror. I don't think the pictures really do it justice. I wonder what kind of condition it was in once it was shipped.. LOL! I used Crystal Effects to glue on all the roses, so hopefully, they were still all intact!

Have a great FRIDAY!

  1. STUNNING! The 3D project certainly are the hardest to take photos of and certainly to pack. I'll be looking for this on the boards at Convention, that's for sure! Great job on this totally winning project in my eyes!
