HSS- Banner Bash!

If you know me, you know I LOVE Banners! A lot! So, this week's challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is all me! These Banners are crazy popular right now in the craft world.

For this week's card, I tried out a new technique I learned, but now can't find the blog to credit it!  Anyhow, it involves inking your striped embossing folder and running your paper through the Big Shot and then turning it 90 degrees and doing it again. It creates a fabulous gingham look!

Stamps: Out on a Limb, Pennant Parade
Ink and Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White
Other: Pennant Punch, Decorative Label Punch, White Twine, Basic Rhinestones, big Shot, Striped Embossing Folder

We would love for you to join us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I know you either love using pennants and banners or have been dying to give it a try! So, now is your chance! Make sure you come back and link up with us!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hi Erica! This is SO cute, it caught my eye right away. I did highlight this gingham technique on my blog last week, but I am sure I'm not the only one who's done it! LOL! I love that you did a Halloween theme, using the orange & black--so fun!

  8. Wow! for the background. It's fabulous! I'll have to try it. Great idea to have the spiders on the banners. Love that they're dressed up in gemstones.

  9. Love the background. I tried black a few weeks ago, and even though the effect turns out great, the clean up is messy. I vowed never to do black again, until maybe now after seeing your card!! Love it.
