Scrapbook Saturday! a little late...

Well, I missed my Saturday deadline again! Ugh! This time I was ready to go, but I lost my memory card reader!!! My hubby went out to get me one and he went to three places before he found one! Ahh, how sweet. The, after he came home, within 10 minutes, I found the old one! Ha! This life when your packing your house up to move...
So, I am once again using Sketchy Thursday's sketch. I love their sketch every week! They are always easy to use.

I try to scrap in chronological order, but sometimes, I take pictures that I can't wait to get my hands on! And, last weekend these were exactly that! My hubby and oldest DD went to a Daddy Daughter dance. The pictures turned out so cute! SO, thanks to my new Epson Artisan printer, I printed these babys out and went to work!

Love these flowers! Sadly, I have no idea who they are and where they are from...
So, as I have told you, we are packing up everything not necessary and moving it to the store room to but our house on the market. I've saved my office for last. Sigh... I told the real estate agent, there was no way I was packing anything in there up. But, I know I need to. I'm going to try to make it look pretty... That's next weekends project. I'll let you see when I'm done!
Have a great Sunday!

Create With Connie and Mary #138- A Sketch

Another Thursday, another Double Post Day for me!

Today at Create With Connie and Mary, the challenge is a sketch!

I chose to feature a Sale A Bration set today called So Happy For you. If you are a regular follower of my blog, you know how much I love to do rainbow order... Well, here we go again!

You can't help but be happy when you look at these bright colors right???

First, I used the Newsprint DSP and stamped the little butterflies in Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi Classic Ink.

I stamped the hearts in the same colors and punched them with the 3/4" circle punch. I popped them up with Stampin Dimensionals.

I used my Stampin Write Markers in the same colors and inked the sentiment. It is stamped on Whisper White and punched with the Modern Label Punch and layered on a Wild Wasabi Lots of Tags punch. The ribbon is Whisper White Taffeta.
This may just be one of my favorite cards in a while... Hmmmm. I wonder who will get it!

Come back later today for another post!

Have you RSVPd? Please do!

Have your given Decor Elements a try?

Stampin' Up has an entire separate catalog to feature their Decor Elements. Basically, they are giant rub ons for your wall, windows, shelves, laptop, jars, etc. To see some of the things I have done in the past with these click HERE. I love to put one of these super cute Curly Labels on a plain jar. It also has a chalk board finish, so you can change the label very easily!

I also like to use them on smaller projects. This little cookie jar was purchased at a local discount store for only a couple dollars. I've dressed it up with a Decorative Label Decor Element and some Daffodil Delight Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Pom Pom Trim and key trinket. I added a little Tiny Tag to finish it off.

This jar has Peanut Butter Cookies that I made and it was a Hostess gift to my most recent Workshop Hostess!

If you are interested in trying these out, stop by my Stampin' Up site and get yourself some! They are easy to apply and also will come off when and if you need to remove it.
