Stay Calm...and play with NEW Stuff! (Scrapbook Saturday!)

Last Tuesday, Stampin' Up released a Sneak Peek smattering of products from the upcoming 12-13 catalog (available June 1) for Demonstraors only. Well, nothing gets my heart racing like new releases! I seriously got up earlier than normal that day to spend time making my pre-order! And yes, I did spend the money to expedite the shipping! I couldn't help myself!

Today's page features two new in colors: Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse. Our wildflower session pictures were perfect for these two colors!

The DSP I used on this paper comes from s new set called Comfort Cafe. Fabulous, no?

And this title was created with some AMAZING things! First, a new die called Oval Accents Bigz was used for the base. I cut the Summer Starfruit (a very interesting color I might add)cardstock and then inked the edges. I then used the new Apothecary Accents Framelits to cut the next shap, also out of Summer Starfruit. I stamped it with a stamp from the new set called Betsy's Blossoms. I stacked them with Dimensionals. Last, I stamped the title (Hello! Love this Internet saying!! It's everywhere!!) from the new Hostess Set called Carry on (wow, how appropriate! LOL!) It was cut out using another of the Apothecary Accents Framelits. The little crown was stamped in Versamark, Summer Starfruit and then onto the very Vanilla. I embossed it with Dazzling Details and punched it out with the small oval. A little twine, a few Vintage brads and you have yourself a quite dramatic title if I do say so myself!

So many Dimensionals! I used an entire sheet today while I was in The Bat Cave! Wow!

A few hand cut pennants (whats a page with out pennants these days??) with the same little crown.

An upside down pennant? Sure! Why not??

I did cut the DSP in half (well, not half, but you know what I mean) and used the corner rounder on one side of each piece. I then machine stitched around the DSP.

And there you have it! I did CASE this page I found on Pinterest. It was digital but I didn't even realize it till I had started working on this one! Funny, that's a good digi page when you can barely tell! I'm also playing along at Stampin' Royalty's Scrapbook Challenge.
