Sweet Summer Yellow

When I was trolling a few of the challenge blog this weekend for inspiration, I immediately got excited when I saw this one at Just Add Ink.

So simple and monochromatic! Love monochromatic. And yellow is one of my favorite colors.

I made today's card very quickly, it was very easy! I used a piece of DSP from the upcoming catalog, called Floral District. I cut a bunch of these really neat shapes out sing the Big Shot and new Framelits called Apothecary Accents. I inked them with So Saffron around the edges. I added a strip of Daffodil Delight Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (retiring!) and gathered it a bit with twine. I finished it off with a So Saffron button and a twine bow. The sentiments is from another new set called Bitty Banners and was also cut out with new framelits.

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a fun, happy card Erica. Love the new goodies you've used, and I like how the framelits shape repeated on your card looks almost like clouds (okay, so a bit of imagination needed for that!). So glad you played along with us at Just Add Ink this week!
