FMU #80- Faux Washi Tape!

This week's challenge at The Friday Mash Up is AWESOME! First, I always love a sketch! LOVE sketches! But, a challenge that I have never been given- use faux washi tape! WHAT? Yes, please!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a project with the "Sketch".
  2. Or Make a project using "Faux Washi Tape".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project using the "Sketch and Faux Washi Tape".

I immediately thought of a post I saw back in the Summer by Connie Collins. She was showcasing her Artisan Contest entries and showed how she discovered how to create faux washi tape. So, I hopped over there and read how she did it!

Using the tissue paper that comes packaged in between Stampin' Up's Window Sheets, I stamped the images (Border Banter) in Real Red and Gumball Green. I then cut them in strips and tore the edges so they would look like ripped tape. That's it! And is was FREE! LOL!

Stamps: Border Banter, Kiddlydoodles
Ink and paper: Whisper White, Gumball Green, Real Red, tissue paper, Snow Festival DSP
Other: Big Shot, Polka dot Embossing Folder, Gumball Green Sweater Trim, Word Window Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Ribbon Edge Border Punch

Hop on over to this week's Friday Mash Up and look at what the other designers have done. Get your hands dirty and come back and show us what YOU made! Have fun!
