Friday Mash Up #86- thinking outside the box!

Oh my goodnes! I'm LATE with this week's FMU POST! Eek! I thought I had scheduled it.. I was traveling yesterday from Memphis to San Antonio.. a 13 hour drive... with three kids and a dog! Am I forgiven????

Hi everyone! I LOVE this week's FMU challenge! Use a NON Christmas Stamp to create a Christmas card! Now that really requires some thought!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a holiday project using "Non-Holiday Image(s)".
  2. Or Make a project with a "Messy Technique", such as spritzing, smooching, shimmer painting, or splattering with an aquapainter.
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Holiday Project from Non-Holiday Stamps and a Messy Technique".

I feel like I cheated... A mailbox is so easy to use... Oh well, I think it qualifies, right?
Once again, I FAILED at the mash up... No messy technique. I was lucky to get this card created at all. You should see my to do list!!

Anyway, this little stamp is from For the Birds. I stamped it on Midnight Muse Card stock. The bird is from another stamp in the same set and it's stamped on Cherry Cobbler. The "letter" involves a little sneak peek for ya! ;-) The shape is a new punch that will be available in the 2013 Sale A Bration catalog! It's a tiny Curvy Label! And it's SO UTE!! The "stamp" image is from Lovely Labels and the holly is from... hmm... I can't remember! When I get back in town, I'll have to go check!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have checked out all the Friday Mash Up Designers first and are now fully inspired to Mash it up with this week!
