Papillion Potpourri- HSS163

Good morning! It's time for another Hand Stamped Sentiment's Color Challenge!

I will admit.. I had a very hard time with these colors! I'm not sure why... I think maybe it was the Cantaloupe and the Pistachio... I have a hard time with subtle colors. But, after one card in the trash, I came up with this and I love it!

I used the colors as the back ground and use the new Core'dinations Cardstock. I embossed them with the Wildflower Meadows Embossing FOlder. I used my Sanding Tool and distressed the edges to expose the white core. The butterflies are from The Papillion Potpourris Stamp set and were stamped on White Vellum with Versa Mark. I sprinkled them with White Embossing Powder and hit them with the heat gun. Lastly, I punched them out with the coordinating Butterfly Punch.

Speaking of Papillon Potpourri, have you checked out my Project Planner for this set?
It's a great summer set!

  2. OMG!! And you say you struggle... WHATEVS!! I love this card, and to do the color blocking with the sanding block- pure genius, but that doesn't surprise me "counselor" :-)
