Artisan Wednesday Wow- Love Letters Mailbox

Welcome to the February edition of the Artisan Wednesday Wow. I've got a sweet little Valentine project for you. I was so inspired when I saw the Mailbox Love Letter Digital Download. I love all the elements and knew I wanted to cut them out with my e-cutter! And, I knew you would want to see too, so I've made few videos to go along with it!

My daughter needs a mailbox for school, but she wanted the "old timey kind." Of course she did! Couldn't be easy and actually use the template that comes with the kit! But, that's ok, it made it that much more fun for me to get creative!

I based my mailbox construction on the one I did last year. But, it needed to be MUCH bigger. So, I recreated the sides with punches in MDS and cut it out on my E- Cutter. I covered it with DSP from Kaleidoscope and the Neutrals DSP Stack. (See the video at the end!)

The front "Love Letters" was an embellishment found in the Mailbox Love Download. Embellishments are not SVG, so I had to get REALLY creative with it! See that video below as well! Just because it isn't an SVG, doesn't mean you can't cut it! Where there's a will, there's a way!

On one side, I also cut some images and added a few stamped images from Quite the Pair.

On the other side is yet another digital embellishment. this one was much easier to cut.  (And yet, another video...)

For the little love notes to actually go inside the mailbox, I also cut them with my E-Cutter. I stamped them with sentiments from Quite the Pair as well.

This little mailbox is quite the show piece and I expect my daughter to be excited when I give it to her! I hope she appreciates all the work I put into it!! LOL!

I've created several videos to go with this project. It was detailed and has many different design layers. I hope from the videos, you are able to learn a few tricks with MDS and the E-Cutter!

Make sure you keep hoppin' along. Jane Lee is next and I am sure you will LOVE what she has in store!

Video Tutorials for making this mailbox are below. I made four different videos, because there were so many different things I actually made! Enjoy! :-)
