Santa Stache (HSS198)

Good morning everyone!

This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments, we've got a great
 Christmas color scheme for ya!

Now at first, the Soft Sky threw me off. But then, I realized this DSP had all three colors in it. And isn't it beautiful!? Stampin' Up is so smart, aren;t they!

My main image is from Santa Stache. Again. I can't stop using this stamp!! He's just so cute!!

 A few tips:
1. Stamp him on Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper in Staz On Black and cut out just the mustache. Cut it out with the framelit and attach it on top of Santa with Dimensionals.
2. Outline all of the "curvy lines" with Dazzling Details.
3. Don't stick your finger in the middle of the Dazzling Details when they are wet. ;-)
4. Use Blendabilities to color in his face.

5. Stamp him on Real Red cardstock and only cut out the hat part and adhere it to the image that is stamped on White Cardstock.

And one more tip: Use wire cutters to cut off the top "loop" of the snowflake and adhere it to the middle of your bow with Hot Glue!

OK, hop on over to HSS and see what the other ladies have come up with! Hope you will play along!

  1. Such a cute Santa card and sketch (achievement), TFS! I'm so glad you explained how you added your glitter here, I've been wondering about inks and possibly blurring the stamped images lines... Thanks again!

  2. Hi Erica, I love the details in your Santa card. No wonder your moustache is so very glittery: it's cut from Glimmer paper. That's a nice touch and I'll have to remember it. I love the little snowflake embellishments but don't really like the look of that top loop---great idea to snip it off when using it like you have. I'll be CASEing that move for sure. Great ideas and a great looking card. Thanks so much for sharing.
