Apple of My Ey

Good morning everyone! Whew, what a busy weekend we had at the Cerwin house! You know, I fooled myself thinking this "home renovation" (closing in a den, moving my office, installing IKEA shelves, closing in a playroom, moving my daughter into new room) would take about a week. Ha! Hahahahaha!!!! I've heard it many times about home renovations, but I really thought we'd just get it done. Lol! So silly of me!

Today is Day 10 since we began. We are about 90% done with my office. We have all counter tops on premises now (no cut and installed) and all lights installed. All but one cabinet door and two drawer fronts are in. I have about 75% of the door hardware installed. We did move my daughter into her new room. We removed cabinets from that room and painted/cleaned. But, she still doesn't have a closet or a door. LOL! But, she's happy as a clam!

(still have decor/curtains to put up!)
Notice how she and her sisters immediately labeled the drawers of her new lego desk. I mean, the bed wasn't even in and they were over there drawing labels! I love it!

Anyhow, we're both back at work today and will spend the next 100 weekends finishing trim, paint, walls and so on. ;-) Thank GOD I have an amazing husband who never once complained about my big ideas. I'm a very lucky lady!!

Today I am sharing a card I created with the new Apple of My Eye stamp set. This one is super cute and not really intended for teachers, but it's what I though of immediately. I created this card as a Teacher thank you.

I used the DSP called Schoolhouse, it's adorable! I used the Chevron Border punch on the Corrugated Cardstock to make the little doodads at the bottom.

Ok, don't forget:
