Cookie Cutter Halloween and Mr Funny Bones

Hi everybody and Happy Halloween! Buy did my kids POP out of bed this morning! Like their mother, they love Halloween! Their costumes have been in the works for weeks and their dreams of candy are reaching an all time high! LOL! We are ready!

I have one last project for you- a card featuring that cute vampire from Cookie Cutter Halloween. I also used the ghoulish Gunrge on the grey piece behind him.

Another fun product I used here is one of the Seasonal Masks and a Wink of Stella brush. It took some time to carefully color in all the little open spaces, but the results were worth it! This card also feature the Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper and the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper as well as the bats from the Halloween Scene Framelits.

Inside, I used some of the fun stamps from Mr. Funny Bone.

And speaking of Halloween, can we give the teachers a shout out today!? I don't ever remember Halloween being on a Monday, do you!? Anyhow, my daughter's teacher was smart and designated today as book report day and gave the kids the freedom to dress as a book character from the book they were reporting on. Emma chose The Election Day Disaster, by Ron Roy, and wanted to be the main character KC Thornton. Well, she is just a normal girl, and I wasn't sure how we were going to make a costume out of this. Until Emma mentioned she had red hair!!

So, when your mom is a Stampin' Up Demo, you get red hair via a Cajun Craze ink pad!! I spent about 15 minutes running the pad over her hair and brushing it through. We have played around with this before and I knew it would wash out, so we really went to town! Now, I am sure there will be some residual color tomorrow since she is so white blonde, but who cares! It's Halloween!! :-) It will all wash out... eventually.

I hope you have a wonderful {spooky} Monday!!
