2017 Holiday Catalog Product Shares

What is a Product Share? It's a great way to get a little bit of all the new ribbon or paper. I cut the bolts of ribbon in 1 yard lengths and you get 1 yard of each color. For the paper, I cut the paper to 6" X 12" pieces and you get one of each pattern. It's a great way to figure out which ones you like the most and want to invest in.
Ribbon and Embelishment Share $21 plus shipping This share includes all the new ribbons and trims from the Holiday Catalog. You will receive 1 yard of each, totaling in 7 yards.   The turn around time for the ribbon share is about 3 weeks. Shipping on ribbon and embelishment shares is $7 (priority flat rate envelope) or free if you also purchase the paper share. Email me for link to register.

Designer Series Paper Share
$23 plus shipping
This share will give you a half sheet of all the new 12" X 12" DSPs and a full sheet of each pattern from the 6" X 6" DSP Stack.  Shipping is $7 (Priority Flat Rate Padded Envelope.) Ribbon shares can ship with the paper at no additional charge.

Please Remember:
It takes several weeks to get your share. I don't order the product until a group is full (paper is 4 people and ribbon is 10.) Then, it takes a week to arrive to me from SU. It will take me up to two weeks for me to cut, sort, pack and ship. Please be patient. I will do them as quickly as I can! I will also email you with updated timelines. :-)

Back to School Teacher Treats- Combining Stamp

Good morning everyone! I hope you are ready for the weekend! We are actually in the path of Hurricane Harvey and are planning on "hunkering down." Thank you to all of you who reached out to me yesterday! We are actually 100 miles from the coast, but, as you know, with a Hurricane, the damage can be far reaching. We are in the direct path, but the level of severity for us really depends on where it comes ashore. And, what we are most worried about is flooding. San Antonio is prone to flood anyway, so 8"-12" of rain could be catastrophic. But, truly, we won't be getting the brunt of it. Please keep everyone who lives on the Texas coast in your prayers!!

On to today's project! The little girls had their Meet the Teacher last night and we brought along our traditional jar of cookies! I didn't get too fancy this year, I had no time! But, what I came up with ended up being so cute!

I made tags very similar to this for my recent Harvest Class, so it was on my mind and I didn't really have to think much. I did however need to change the sentiment to be applicable to meeting their new teachers! I looked at my stamps for a while and decided to get creative and COMBINE sentiments! Combining sentiments is one of my favorite things to do!! It's like solving a puzzle and creating a new stamp!

My little one didn't get the teacher she was hoping for (although she got a teacher who is amazing!!) and we've been doing a lot of chatting about how God puts them exactly where He knows they need to be! So, when I saw the sentiment from Rose Wonder, I knew it was perfect!!

On the left is Rose Wonder, you can see the original sentiment.
On the right side is the word "teacher" from World's Best Trophy stamp set.

Luckily, these sets are both Photopolymer, so that makes combining them simple! I used a bit of Washi Tape to "mask off" the word friend. I inked it in Early Espresso while the tape was on the stamp.

I peeled off the Washi Tape and stamped it on Whisper White cardstock. This is how it stamped.
Sometimes, you have to do this a couple of times to get it exactly how you want it without random ink in places.
But, this was perfect the first time. Just don't forget to take off the tape or you'll have a big rectangle of ink there! HA! (Ask me how I know...)

Next, I stamped the word teacher in Crushed Curry. So perfect!!
I cut out the sentiment with a Banner Framelit (retired.)

For the top of the lid, I cut out two Stitched Circles. I stamped a couple of Orange Blossom images and wrote the to/from.
Check out the supply list below for all the other details.

A simple tag can take a boring item really far. I am REALLY into making tags these days. It's fast and easy and it carries a big punch!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Don't forget- today is the last day to purchase the Bike Ride Fancy Card Class to go!! (See details below.)

Paper Pumpkin Showcase

Have you given Paper Pumpkin a try yet? If not, why not? It really is an exceptional value! And, if you subscribe during the Fall promotion, you can get your first month 50% off!! And if you don't like it, you can cancel... anytime! But, I bet you won't! It's so fun!

I thought I'd take a minute and share with you just how fun this kit is. I took some time this week to catch up on mine and I loved each one more than the other!! Some times they are cards, and sometimes they are 3D items.

Below, you can see the projects from each of the last four months. I love when my box shows up because it's a total surprise!! It's truly the ONLY surprise I ever get. I am the official "orderer of all things" at our house, so rarely do I not know what's coming.
But Paper Pumpkin is always a wonderful surprise!
It's a little treat just for ME!

This month's project was 8 cards along with a beautiful card box to hold them in. This will make a GREAT gift! I will be ordering a refill kit so I can make another one and give them to my kid's teachers!

The kit that came in June was ADORABLE! So summery. The best part- that tissue paper!! Look closely, it has tiny watermelon seeds printed all over it! And, four little gift bags along with six cards to keep on hand.

May's kit was quite unique as well. Doughnuts! These were really fun. My kids really loved these. My favorite part are the little envelopes. They are actually flat bags. So it looks like your little doughnut is in a bakery bag! Who thinks these things up!? Fun, right?

July's kit had 8 beautiful cards that all featured wood elements. Those are so on trend right now! These look quite fancy in real life. I wish I had been able to catch that in the pictures.

The best part of Paper Pumpkin, in my opinion, is the product you get. Each month, your kit includes a stamp set and one or two stamp spots. Stamp Spots are small ink pads in official Stampin' Up colors. We used to actually sell these and they were wildly popular! They are a great way to build up your color collection. You can see above, these are just some of the inks and stamps I have collected over the last year. These alone are worth the money!

So, give it a try! What do you have to lose. The fall months promise to bring some much needed items for all the holidays coming up. I have never been disappointed!!

Make sure to use the promo code HALFOFF0917 to get 50% off.

PS- Once you become a subscriber, you actually have access to past kits! Some are averrable to order. (Depends on what supplies SU has left.)

Thanks for stopping by!
